I wouldn't call the LEDs they used common. It's a super narrow angle
one, probably about 4-5 degrees per the Toshiba TLRH180P datasheet.
But that one isn't readily available, I'm using the closest match I
could find. You can probably use any of the wider angled variety, I
don't think the receiver circuit would care, but it is visible light I
was trying to keep the bleed over down to a minimum.
Curious if it would work with any color set...might be an option for
color coordinating games.
