I know where there is a Williams Doozie in restorable condition.
Seems that the playfield might turn out well, but the backglass is
really hosed.
Is this worth getting, if I don't have any EM games? Layout looks
boring and I'm kinda iffy on the backglass art. What would you think
a project game, filthy, needs cabinet repaint, with a shot backglass
would be worth?

Well, that's what I pretty much figured. The layout looks lame and
the art leaves a lot to be desired. Thanks for the opinions..

There was a Doozie on Ebay about 2 weeks ago, in nearly the same
condition you described, starting bid was $99. Needless to say it got
no bids.
I attempted to contact the ebay seller, to try and buy just the
plastics set and bumper caps and zipper flipper mechanism from him,
but we never closed the deal.
I have the AAB version called Daffie, which might be slightly better
in play in that it has a single drop target replacing one of the pop
bumpers.
