I am 16 and I have babysat these kids many times before. They are 2, 5, 8, and 9. They are all girls except the 8 year old. Usually we just watch movies and play board games. I am watching them tonight and most of saturday and sunday so I was wondering what are some fun things to do? They don't have video games or anything like that. I was thinking about playing dress up or something like that but i dont know if the boy would like that. What do you think we should do?

how about making cookies have the parent get dough ready dough!

and have them shape them and U handle the oven! and decorate them all kids like that or make cupcakes too

and have an inside pick nic

How about art? Coloring, painting, playdough. Girls do like to get their hair done and play make up, paint nails. Heh, the boy might get into it too. How about a movie of some kind?

I agree with the cookies idea too. That would be a lot of fun.

how about some sort of competition, maybe a treasure hunt or something? you could just hide some candy at certain places, and make up some clues, the two year old would probably just enjoy running around after the older kids!
and then maybe do some drawing.
then make some cookies or something and then sit them all down to watch a film?

that will give you the chance to tidy up!

Dre up is great even for the boy they love to pretend get silly we all do U can put on a talent show U know dance sing like american idol do they have painting supplies? if so they can make pics for Xmas gifts how about baking cookies just get Pillsbury ready dough sprinkles they'll love it U really sound like a caring great babysitter arts crafts R good too hope this helps Have fun Oh sorry the first word is dress I messed up Keep up the good work

Color or draw Christmas pictures for their mom and dad.

Get white sheets of paper and let them fold them up and cut them like snowflakes

Play hide and seek

2,5,8,9 that's quite a spread and hard to find something that they will all like. Hide and go seek is a good one - you have to pretend to not know where they are when they're young 2, 5 and possbly 8? You could also enlist te older ones to help out the younger ones by teaming them up. Do a paper trail that leads to the end surprise - for example, the first note (clue) they get is a hint of where the next note is like, You just got up, where do you clean your teeth? Then, in the bathroom or in the tooth brush holder, you've place clue #2 that says, Boy, you're hungry. Where do you sit for breakfast? Then at their place at the table, they find Clue #3. All clues lead to the grand surprise - a coupon for ice cream, later in the day/ a deck of cards (or another bored game - so you can all play a game or a prize of your choosing. Also, store is a good game. Get paper bags and have the kids go shopping They can purchase anything in the house that isn't breakable, valuble, and fits in their bag. Then you are the cashier and they bring their purchases to you. You ring them up and bag them - then ask them to help you restock and put things back where they go. Have to be creative. good luck!!
