Marco Specialties Website - WTF?

Does anyone/everyone have problems
loading web pages?

Tried IE, Firefox and Chrome.

It's slower than my dialup used to be.

Had a horrible time trying to make an order today. Their site sucks,
period. Using the "save cart" feature is also a pita as it seems to
multiply your numbers when you reopen the cart. Their site went from
being one of the easiest to being the most pita site to use.

You also have to watch when bying items that are "on sale". I have
experience that if you buy items that they say "buy X amount and
receive discount" upon placing them in the cart the discount does not
apply. I had to contact Marco and have the difference credited.

Also, their shipping charges are by far the highest of all the pinball
vendors I use. They do, however, seem to have more items available
than the other vendors so I continue to use them.

Nah, this has been messed up long before any hurricanes.

It's almost agonizing waiting to see IF a page is going to load.

I guess people will have to call or e-mail direct then.
Don't forget the hurricane screwed up a lot of stuff all through the
middle of the USA.

I can not fault them recently on shipping charges. Marco and BAA have
been cheaper than some closer parts dealers. My last ordered from
Marco was a small part and it was a couple bucks for shipping USPS and
they were fast getting it out. A while back there shipping charges
were pretty high but lately they have been really fair.

The web site still blows IMHO

Their shipping rates are pretty fair imho. They use to be a flat rate
but now you have a choice. I placed an order today and the shipping
was reasonable, web site still sucks though.

Re: Marco Specialties Website - WTF?

Do they sell something that no one else does?
I can't understand why anyone would struggle with using a site since
it does not work.
This thread was brought up months agao.
