Whats the problem? I Somewhat agree with him, shoot, just read the
group for a few months and you'll see examples of what he was talking
about right here.
Re: Pin article, the author hates on IFPA 5 and tournament players.
That looks more like a blog than an article to me. And a weak blog at
that. Not worth getting upset about. The guy is obviously clueless if
he thinks he can play WPT (or any other game) better than any player
there. Most of the top players in the world attended that event.

This group is 99.99% collectors. Just about all the players ditched
this place a long time ago. And the few who do still post occasionally
here are not the problem. HTH

The guy who wrote the article sounds like a 17 year old, whatever.
In regards to 99.99% of RGP being collectors, if that many of us our
collectors than what the hell does "collector" quality mean?
Seems that many here are players who may like to play on nice examples
but may have a hard time calling themselves "collectors"
I often call myself a collector but then see what is not considered
"collector quality" fs post that have pins I would love to add to my
collection.
Just wondering.
I don't think Tiger Woods likes cameras going off during his back
swing. Seems like someone got made to feel like an idiot because he
didn't grasp the importance of the event by the participants. I am
suprised that flash photography is allowed at all, should have had
security toss him out on his ass.
Yeah, I saw that this morning when I we were preparing for the final 4
to face off. Personally it sounded like they were someone who realized
they were not as good as pinball as they thought they were and thinks
slaming everyone is a way to put him above everyone.
Here is some data concerning WPT he mentions, draw your own
conclusions. Just keep in mind WPT was set to hard difficulty (6+ hits
to start ace in the hole I believe), the right ramp switch was
constantly getting stuck up and not register a ramp shot (and people
wouldn't realize it), a sensitive tilt, pressure of competition, etc,
etc, etc
Also, in some cases, player 4 didn't play their last ball (because
they were already highest). So his 'respectable' 4.1 million didn't
beat 23 of the 32 entries.
Wow. we crowned the wrong Champion, Bowen, can you please give back
your new game?
that's hilarious. I must admit I get pissed when people mess with me
when I'm playing a game. but to the casual player or just onlooker
they are not meaning any harm. it's just hard to play and carry on a
conversation or whatever at the same time. it's all for fun tho! put
on some deodarant douchbags!

ROFLMFAO!! HaHa. Bobby Excitement does not like to get bumped when
he plays pinball. Funny stuff. And shower, two weeks prior. Too
funny. Is that from a movie or something?
Most of the top ranked people I've met are not like the people he's
describing in the article, there are a few that are douches though.
Just like anything else, the people that get the most complaints are the
negative people.
I usually play better when people are conversing with me - if the
players were REALLY good they could handle the distractions. Taking a
non-flash photo in a location where presumably photography is allowed?
Please...... unless he squeezed between the machines to do it.
The BO comment resurfaces every year around Allentown show time - there
are people that have BO. Especially in a tournament situation too, it's
not like you can go take a shower in the middle of the day right???
People sweat......

Maybe not consistently, but one of the best things about pinball is that
any player has the potential to beat any other player on any machine at
any time..... just the nature of the silverball.....
