I took the advice of this newsgroup and downloaded Forgotten Hope, Good
game- I have a little trouble seeing the enemy if they are without tags but
they don't seem to have any trouble seeing me. I got to work on that.
Anyway I also downloaded Bf1918 but it seems to crash to desktop and or I
get the error report from MS. It almost gets to the actual game sometimes
but crashes before the start after you chose sides or anytime before that.
anybody else use that mod? Had that problem? Got any advice? As it is I
can't get to use it. Thanks in advance, Tom.

Haven't played 1918 but as far as the tags go if you want to see the
tags farther out try different servers. One of them that I can't
remember the name of has the tags seeable from so far out that some of
the players just lay down and run the target cursor over the landscape
till a tag shows when they run it over someone. You get just get shot
over and over by people who aren't anywhere close enough to you in
reality to be firing at you.

I really don't care for tags but I can't see the enemy person because I got
a problem with seeing the difference in greens and browns. [low grade
colorblindness] Anyway if there was an adjustment for gamma or the like I
shure would like to know about it. Probably just stuck with it but it don't
hurt to ask. Thanks, Tom. btw I tried monitor settings = better but not
