I see people playing in squads all the time. But they're sadly playing
*in* squads, not *as* squads. You can lead them to the water, but you cant
make them drink it.
People not interested in teamplay still join squads just so they get the
extra mobile spawn point of their squad leader. They may not listen/follow
to their squad leader, and he may (usually) not care, but it's still worth
it to them to join a squad because when they die, their squad leader may be
close to some skirmish worth spawning in at.
And people like to create squads instead of joining already established
ones just so they can a squad leader and have the ability to call for
supplies - especially the snipers for when they run out of ammo. If people
join their one-man squads, these leaders could care less.
