There is about a month from TFT release date,
and after playing both games (ROC & TFT)
I still think that ROC is better (unit balance, playability ...)
What do you think ?

undead overpowered at the moment, but i like the expansion.
new units give new strats... but they do need balancing.
give it some time and it will be ok

I think the orcs are pretty weak at the moment also. The new improved
blademaster is good fun though. I liked ROC, but really everyone went
mass caster and that's just not as fun as the mix. Combined arms is
the ideal I think everyone wants to reach and FT is trying for it.
Had a great game on the new Lost Temple map last night that really
solidified my admiration for some of FT's changes.

FT is too much like SC. Too much rushing / massing units / early attacks, etc..

Which makes the game more enjoyable rather than seeing the first 5~8 minutes
being wasted on killing computer creeps. Well, that is my opinion anyway.

As for the rushes, you can ward off any rushes easily, if you got some basic
defenses up + a little bit microing, so that wouldn't be a problem, right?

Also, you should be the one doing the harassment, not the other way round.

ROC was just mass casters every game. It was totally dull...however I did
find it easier to win. Maybe I am still too new to FT

I miss the days of fast teching to Wyverns, etc.. Now, for instance, I'm forced
to build a barracks. (something almost unthinkable, in RoC)

If you're playing a skilled player, you'll get a couple of his, and he'll get a
couple of yours. Or, you'll meet along the way, and fight it out there,
mono-e-mono, with one standing his ground, and the other limping away.
