Blizzard dropped the ball. This expansion was clearly rushed. No comparison to
Brood War.

Ya its probably rush or underbudget but good enough for its price. Got it for 34.99 plus $10 gift card.

They made a beta, they listened to tester for patch fixes(they made a HELL
LOT of patches trust me) they made new quality cinematics campaigns,
improved greatly the battle.net interface, improved the gameplay(queue
upgrades, sell items, ...) added a lot of new units, new heros, new
buildings, new shops(the tavern comes to my mind), new items...
They used a lot of ideas from broodwar (bats are like the zerg flies that
exploded on target, fiends can burrow,...) but it was not Starcraft and it's
not broodwar :o)

No shit, that's a hell of a lot of things that Blizz put into the
expansion, WAY more than they did with Broodwar so I wonder what the hell
Caecina actually wanted in the expansion. All BW gave us was 2 units per
race and new missions and maybe a few other little things. TFT is like a
whole new game... I was in the beta test and I love how the game plays now
and now that TFT is installed there are a bunch of features that weren't
even in the beta. I, for one, couldn't be happier with TFT but apparently
it's not enough for some people.

I installed and played prior to installing the patch, and over a fresh
install of Warcraft (had to uninstall 'cause of the beta).

Other problems I've noticed:
- complete lack of AI
- ridiculous lumber requirements
- ghouls no longer move with the group, if they're cannibalizing

That's it? That's your justification for stating that FT is
mediocre???
The campaign alone is worth the money, let alone the multiplayer
aspect. FT is a cream dream.
