Something that could play Battlefield 2, Half Life 2, Red Orchestra with pretty good graphics and FPS. Also with at least 1GB of RAM.

impossible, unless you buy used and get really lucky. Sorry, but keep saving up.

Check out eBay, or Dell Outlet. They both offer good units, and in most cases good service, as well.

cheapest would be to build it yourself...if you have questions, I'll help ya pick stuff out...Try Tomshardware if you do plan to build yourself and not sure exactly how to do it...

Try these, for the price your looking at, it's pretty basic, if you want heavy duty gaming your going to need to go up about 200 plus in price.http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shopping/computer_can_series.do?storeName=computer_store&category=desktops&a1=Usage&v1=Entertainment+and+multimedia&series_name=s3000y_serieshttp://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shopping/computer_can_series.do?storeName=computer_store&category=desktops&a1=Usage&v1=Everyday+computing&series_name=s3000e_serieshttp://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8223077&type=product&productCategoryId=pcmcat103700050060&id=1166840115487

Gaming computer are sometimes just over $1000 and a lot of them are over $2000. As for getting it cheap, some of the users have suggested you can buy a cheap computer and try upgrading it yourself. Try Carbonfrost Systems. They have a model called Surfer Mark III for $525 and you wil get what I have listed below. You can add a decent video card and be ready to go. The good thing about these guys is that they will Overclock many of their computers and still keep it under warranty. So you will get a better computer essentially than what I have listed below. I am not sure if they do this on thier Surfer Class but I am sure you can talk to them and see what they say. 250 Gigabyte Hard Drive1 GB RAM (up to 8 GB)AMD Athlon 64 4000+ Single Core2.4 GHz ProcessorDVD±R Burner 18XASUS AMD MotherboardWindows Vista Home Starter Packagehttp://www.carbonfrost.com/products/surfer/Good luck but as I said earlier getting a gaming computer for that price is pretty hard especially a decent one.http://www.carbonfrost.com/
