Simply put, NO. Not all the games that worked fine on XP would run ok on Vista, because Vista restricts direct access to hardware layer.Right now all we can do is to wait, till the game manufacturers catch up Microsoft.
Some will, some won't and some you'll have to mess about with them before they do.If games don't work, look for things like patches to allow compatiblity with Vista on the game website. Some won't work whatever you do though.

Not sure 32 upon 64... well, you shud get in touch with the game manufacturer.. and ask them for possible work around or support...

Your question contradicts itself. If a game does not work on Vista then you are not going it to work on Vista are you?Why don't you cross that bridge when you come to it? In other words, install the game and then see whether it works or not before asking for help here.

you can always use an "emulator" !!! Its a crafty piece of software you run and from which you run the obsolete program. Even with xp, some old games would run too quick due to processor speed or not at all. there are zx spectrum emulators, and emulators for old consoles. vista emulator are sure to follow soon
