Feature. It's a festure of OFB and later games. So that your sim can chose
their own wedding attire.

You have to go shopping and buy the wedding clothes you want, then go to a
wardrobe and "plan outfit" for formal, THEN go to the wedding arch. It's
been that way for a while now. Lots of nice wedding dresses and veils at

And don't do what I did first time. Got the bride a really nice wedding
dress, planned outfit so it was set as formal, and she promptly spun into
it. Ok, I thought, you're dressed. Off to the arch and she spun again into
the bogstandard wedding frock. I assume she needed to be in everyday when
she went to the arch.

There's a fix for the energiser bug at MATY.

For a while I didn't see the formal clothes thing - I don't know why, I had
the right EPs etc, but I think it's possible I was marrying my male sims to
npc girls. Had a few in formal gar, then that one. Haven't had another
since to check it out but I think that must be what to do.
