I'm kind of surprised it works so well ... at least in
Myrtana .. choice Inos. Before liberating a town,
I search for a narrow path that is guarded on each
side by terrain .. walls, cliffs .. if possible. Then,
I trigger the Rebels, Mages, or Paladins to start
the big fight, and I run like blazes for my chosen
spot. Sooner or later, here come the Orcs, but
they can only stack up on the trail, and come
one at a time ... for about an hour or more in
real time. In Faring, I went up to the path to
Nordmar, and fired an arrow at an Orc guard.
Here they came .. the entire town .. but one
at a time up that narrow trail. Trelis, same deal.
I figured that Orcs coming out the North gate
would have to come one at a time, so I stood
right there, and again popped a guard with the
offensive arrow. Gotha, I did not have to liberate.
I sent a Paladin from Okara, and he both
liberated the town, plus garrisoned it with Rebels.
Nice guys. They thought I was a theif, and one
of them attacked me, and I knocked him down
and left. In Faring, when I entered the Castle,
I approached the slaves who were hauling rocks.
They immediately stopped and thanked me for
freeing them ... and dropped the rocks. That is
what I was wanting to hear. In each town, now,
the slaves .. men and women ... are surviving
and thanking me. At Silden, a female slave
in the Castle thanked me. Good game .. at last.
