Okay, I downloaded a plane to put into FSX from AVSIM. But, how do I put it
into the sim? I do not want to mess anything up so I decided to ask for help
first. Thanks all in advance

Unzip it to a temp folder, then you should see a 'readme' file with
instructions.

The one thing I would watch out for, is there are 3 generic folders
in fsx, effects, sound, and gauges, which apply to all aircraft.
Often times the readme will tell you to place certain files in one or
more of these. In some cases there will be files in those folders
already with the same file names. I would recommend backing up
any of these first, before overwriting them in case you want to go
back to the earlier versions. I don't think I ever had to go back
myself, but it is probably worth the protection.
