How can I load new weapons in my unreal tournament game?
I mean: I played online and I got beautiful sniper rifle guns. I think I
have them in my Unreal tournament/system folder with the names like
"FBIHeadshotRifleV7.u" (I think this is it.
How can I use this weapon in my private game or in my LAN with my brother?

Hi Giuseppe,

to play with this weapons yourself you need the *.int from this mutator.
but the int files won't be transferred, so you have to seach fore the
complete
download. It works like the skins and the voicepacks, if you don't have
the
INTs you couldn't choose them in you player setup.
If you don't find the download send a mail to the server admin, perhabs
he will
help you.
And if you start a server to play it in you lan you have to add this
mutator
in your unrealtournament.ini as a ServerPackage.
But if don't find this mutator there are many other weapon mutators you
can
download and test.

Thanks a lot. But isn't it possible to use a cache cleaner like the one I
used for the maps? I played online and after I had finished I hadn' the map
in tthe maps directory. Then I found a program called "utcacheconvert" and
running it all the maps resident in cache are converted into real maps. Not
possible with weapons?

the problem is int files won't be transferred. A cache converter could
not convert something what isn't there. maps, textures, sounds and so
on is no problem. but for every skin, voisepack, model and mutator you
need the special int. perhabs there is somebody who who can create one.
for a voicepack it's quite easy but for a mutator I've no idea.

You can't really do it without contacting the admin and gettting the
installer. I've even seen some admins try to charge for the installer when
asked. It's a shame that the game won't include the simple install file as a
ride along with the download but just add that to the list of ?'s that one
wonders about this game (Like why do we even need to use a cache cleaner?
The designers couldn't include one into the game console?).

worth checking the server info F2 to see if they have a website, clan
servers tend to and have downloadable mods and skins

Ok! I found, on www.alienclan.com , the int to use this new sniper. Very
good. Then I tryied to play a deathmatch game with a friend of mine. He has
the same weapon. We connect on an internet game (I'm the server) everything
is all right but..... he doesn't see the weapon (I see he has it in his
hands, but he's not able to see it).
Why? should _I write something in unreal tournament.ini file?

yes, you need an to add the server package in your unrealtournament.ini,
when
you start the server. but I don't know exactly what to add. I think you

new weapons?
