Assault bridge jump

If anyone out there has seen the video of record breaking run for the
Assault level, I was wondering what the trick is to jump off that first
bridge and make it down the entire cliff to the ground. I can make it to the
little ledge under the bridge without a problem and it's 50/50 that I
survive the first ledge after the fall. The problem is I cannot make it down
to where the ground troops are without dying. I die when I hit, and am not
sure where you should land. What's the trick here?

Has anyone else out there conquered this?

Never tried. But, if you can land on something that has an angle... an
abutment or a stone or other natural feature, and you can deflect your
landing on this angled feature, your damage is reduced by a large factor.
