Halo - Truth & Reconciliation on Xbox

I'm trying to complete halo in legendry mode. The first levels were ok...not
that
hard. But in the level 3, when I enter the battle ship thru that gravity
lift, all hell is
let loose. There are 3 or 4 elites with swords. I can't get past them. Can
somebody
tell me how to take them down.

First you want to get the invisibillity and then kill the invisible Elite.
Find the doors where the lights are on inside, the Grunts and the Jackals
will come out of those doors. When you see the Grunts, kill them and tack
the Needler if they have one, if one of them does not find one. If you still
have your Sniper Rifle use it too, you can use it to kill the Grunts and the
Jackals before and after you kill the Elite. Once you're past the doors and
you have the Needler, get one of the Elites attention and wait until he
starts coming after you. When the Elite gets past the door, start shooting
him with the Needler. Make sure that the Needler is fully reloaded and use
one whole clip on each Elite.Give your self enough distance between you and
the Elite so you can get away. Go back and fourth to each door to kill all
the Elites. Make sure to get Needler ammo if you can. After you kill all of
the Elites, take out the Grunts and Jackals using your Sniper and Assault
Rifles.

Damn. That originally took me a few hundred tries to get through that. Now I
usually do it on the first try.

Don't fear the inviso's. Be aggressive as hell and rush them as soon as the
door opens (watch your radar for an advance warning on what door is next).
The best way to kill them is to stun 'em with a plasma blast, then finish
them off with a few more shots. or give 'em a plasma grenade hat and run
like hell.

Be patient, don't give up and Good luck!

Inviso's are unshielded, so not hard to kill, but I kept a sniper rifle so 1
shot kills mostly, 2 shots for yellow guys. Legendary was an absolute killer
on that level...

To get pass this level, you have to find the triangle to make yourself
invisible and enter the room that is dark with the back door in red.
Ensure that you have all 8 grenades, 24 sniper rounds & 600 rounds for
your machine gun. When the door opens, an elite will be in the door, so
if you take him out, you have to enter the room before the door closes.

The closer you get to the door, causes the door to open, but don't waste
your sniper rounds on anything but the elites. If you fire at an elite
and he hides, reload. After you take out the elite, then you can work
on the others, just be sure that you keep at least 4 rounds for the hunters.
