Sorry, but no help from my post in the video group.Trying to fix A
Sega Spiderman video(1991) for a friend..
No manual..Opened the cage and see 1 small 4 bank dip switch module.
Can
I enable free play from that bank. Any advice appreciated.

Is there a test buuton that you can get into the switch test by
chance. I ask because over the weekend I was in the same boat
regarding a Qbert. I went into test and found the dip switch for
freeplay.

Hey Tom,

I encountered the same problem with this game when swapping the board
into an older cabinet. Unfortunately, you are going to need test and
service switches to access the free play option. Since my cabinet was
older and did not have either switch, I just took a few wires,
connected them to two cherry switches (one acting as the test switch
and the other the service switch), and then plugged them straight into
the JAMMA harness where the manual dictated. If you do this correctly,
you will be able to access the menu by pressing the service button
(switch). It's pretty straight forward from there.
