Has anyone tried battling online? If so, you'll have noticed that you no
longer need to train your Pokémon all the way to :L100 - it automatically
bumps them up. Once you've got the moves you want, the appropriate EVs, and
have fully-evolved your monsters, no further training is necessary, so
they've made it that much easier.
But! There's a cool side-effect to this. If you hatch a baby and
immediately go online to battle, the baby will now be on :L100, but without
any EVs - as such, you'll be able to tell at a glance exactly what its DVs
are.
(Shall I leave it at that? Or shall I explain what DVs are, what they mean,
etc? My assumption is that anyone who'd care about the :L100 trick will
already know about them.)
